Congratulations
to our girls team for finishing 9th at the State XC meet this
weekend in Jefferson City!
We are so proud
of all of our athletes this year. This Varsity team (Lexi, Jasmine, Mallory,
Nicole, Keely, Marti and Emma) won Conference, Districts and Sectionals and
qualified for a team for the State meet for the first time since 1999. We had a
great weekend, and are so proud of our team. Cross Country is by far the most
difficult physical and metal sport there is, and we feel blessed to work with
such determinded athletes.
Special thanks
to all those who made the trip to Jefferson City to cheer for our team. It was
so wonderful to see families from near and far, friends and teammates there.
