Banquet Recap

Thanks again to all those attending the banquet last night. Coach Huff and I know that the success of the team is a results of the hard work all of our athletes have put in and all of the help we receive from you - the parents. Thank you!

GIRLS QUALIFY!!!



CONGRATULATIONS to our girls team who qualified for the Class 4 Sectionals meet next weekend at Longview Community College. This is the first time in 5 years we have qualified as a team and the first time in a very long time both the boys and girls teams have qualified. WAY TO GO! We are so proud of you and all of your hard work!!! These girls did a great job of stepping up and competing AS A TEAM! We wish them best of luck next weekend as they try to qualify for the State Championships. Team times are as follows:

Jeanie Lohnes - 22:04
Jessica Newsom - 22:27
Katy Riojas - 22:37
Lauren Black - 22:58
Miranda Norfleet - 23:19
Amy Willsey - 23:31
Katy Lindsey - 23:42
Natalie Clifford ran in the alternate race and ran a 22:00 flat! She placed first and will run with our team at the Sectionals meet on Saturday! WELL DONE NATALIE!!!!
ALL girls cross country athletes are welcomed to and encouraged to ride the team bus Saturday with the girls. This is an AWESOME feat and these girls need your encouragement and the support of their teammates on Saturday. The bus will leave from PHS at 7:45 on Saturday. ALL are welcomed to ride!
Our team banquet is Monday, October 27th at 6:00 at Cascone's (3733 North Oak Trafficway). Please dress nicely and arrive on time!
If you ahve not turned in your uniform and warmups, you will have the opportunity to do this again on Tuesday, November 4th after school in Socah Huff's room. This is the LAST DAY to turn in uniforms!!!
