Girls finish 4th!!

What a great weekend to be a Panther! Both the boys and girls teams qualified for the Sectional meet this Saturday at Raymore Peculiar. This is by far the most competitive Sectional in the State and the races will not disappoint. The South District Championship was won by only a margin of 3 points by St. Theresa's Academy and the difference between 1st and 3rd was only 6 points (Lee's Summit West and Lee's Summit North). With so many great runners and only 30 spots up for grabs, Saturday's race will be fast and furious. To see the best cross country runners in the State, please attend and see for yourself just how fast the Metro area is AND how awesome it is that OUR girls are there AS A TEAM!

Jasmine - 20:06:03
Lexi: - 20:12:48
Erin - 20:53:74
Erica - 21:24:28
Madi - 21:51:94
Riley: 21:53:92
Griffin: 22:43:62

Congratulations to Jasmine Crawford (5th) Lexi Maddox (7th) Erin Stump (20th) Erica Guzman (25th) Madi Blinzler (30th) Riley Nelson (31st) and Griffin Burri (43rd). This is the first time in my 11 years as coach that we have had our top 5 girls finish in the top 30. Alternates are: Nicole Gardner, Kallen Mazeitis, Charlie McFarlane, and Allison Kelly
