We feel pretty good about changing our meet from the Joplin Stampede to the Blue Springs Wildcat Invitational. The weather at Lake Jacomo was a perfect, cool 50, degrees with light mist, while the Joplin Stampede got cancelled due to heavy rains. Thank you to all the families who changed their schedules and to the athletes for being good team sports and not complaining about the switch. Lake Jacomo provides a very good Cross country course with woods, rolling hills and flat grass areas. Congratulations to all the athletes who competed yesterday. Our Varsity girls finished 5th out of 9 teams and the JV finished 4th out of 10 teams. There were 60 athletes in the Varsity race and 100 athletes in the JV race.
