Congratulations to our Varsity girls for
winning the District 8 Championship on Saturday! This is the first time in our
school's Class 4 history that we've won districts. The girls move on to the
Sectional meet this Saturday in Kearney, MO. The four teams from our District
(PHS, Staley, Liberty, Kearney) will meet the District 7 teams (Blue Spring
South, Blue Springs, Lee's Summit North and Notre Dame de Scion). It will be
another great race. We will have a team bus and we would love to have teammates
come cheer the girls on as they race. The bus will leave at 7:00 Saturday
morning. We are so proud of ALL of our runners this year, and we would
love to have the team together again to support and celebrate winning districts
and having a really good shot to send a team to State.
